I have been such a disappointment and burden for too many
far too long, it seems. It is time to get back home.
I tried to be honest in all I did although I would sometimes, lie to protect those I love. I’ve cried at least one million tears since birth. I wasn’t supposed to be here.
My dad would tell me how I should beg,
Sweat and pour the blood just to survive. Well, I did.
I believe in God and all the Spirits who walk
And linger amongst my path; please forgive me,
I am done. I’m tired, scared, confused and
Angry to the point I don’t recognize myself.
Is this life? No, it is only mere existence and
A living Hell. What should I do?
I am angry about so much pain in this world
But mostly about what’s going on in my own home, right under my nose. I have given all I know I can.
I have cried and pleaded to help them understand.
Again, I’m alone. Please never pity me for a thing.
